Question 1

Do I need to make a reservation, or can I just walk in?

Accepted Answer

Reservations are recommended, especially during peak ski season and weekends, since teppanyaki tables have limited seating and the chef-led experience works best with a full party. Call ahead to secure your spot and discuss party size.

Question 2

What should I expect in terms of dress code?

Accepted Answer

Casual to smart-casual attire is typical for après-ski dining in Whistler. Since you're seated at the teppanyaki table, avoid loose clothing or dangling accessories that might get in the way of the cooking action.

Question 3

Is this a good spot for families with kids, and are there vegetarian options?

Accepted Answer

Yes, the interactive chef performance makes it entertaining for children. The menu includes grilled vegetables and seafood alongside meat options, so vegetarian diners can be accommodated—confirm when booking.

Question 4

How does payment work, and what's the typical cost per person?

Accepted Answer

Most teppanyaki restaurants operate on a per-person set-menu or à la carte basis. Contact the restaurant directly for current pricing and to confirm payment methods accepted.

Question 5

Is there parking available at Mountain Square?

Accepted Answer

Mountain Square has on-site parking. Arrive early during busy times, as parking can fill up in peak season.
