Wendy Thompson Hut

Wendy Thompson Hut sits in Marriott Basin off Duffey Lake Rd (Hwy 99) and is run by the Alpine Club of Canada Whistler section. It sleeps 16 and is reservations only through ACC Whistler. Fees are $25 per person per night, or $20 for ACC members of the Whistler, Squamish or Vancouver sections. No dogs, sleds or helicopters. Access: you hike or ski in from Duffey Lake Rd. The winter route is unmarked and rated Challenging avalanche terrain. Winter access crosses avalanche terrain, so carry avalanche gear, have the training to use it, and check Avalanche Canada before you go.
