Question 1

Do I need to book in advance or can I just show up?

Accepted Answer

It's recommended to book ahead, especially during peak summer and winter seasons, as flights can fill up quickly. You can inquire about same-day availability by contacting them directly, but advance reservations ensure you get your preferred time.

Question 2

What should I wear and bring on the flight?

Accepted Answer

Dress in layers since it's cooler at altitude. Bring sunscreen and sunglasses for the bright reflections off water and snow. Leave heavy bags behind or check weight limits beforehand, as seaplanes have stricter baggage restrictions than commercial flights.

Question 3

Are these flights suitable for children or people with mobility concerns?

Accepted Answer

Children are generally welcome, though specific age or size requirements may apply. Contact the operator about accessibility needs, as boarding a floatplane involves steps and tight cabin spaces that may be challenging for those with mobility issues.

Question 4

How long do the scenic flights typically last?

Accepted Answer

Tour lengths vary depending on the package selected. Most scenic flights range from 30 minutes to over an hour, offering different views of the mountains, lakes, and Coast Range. Confirm exact duration when booking to match your schedule.

Question 5

What payment methods do you accept?

Accepted Answer

Most tour operators accept credit cards and online payments for reservations. Contact them directly to confirm accepted payment methods and whether deposits or full prepayment is required.
