Owl Creek Recreation Site

Owl Creek Recreation Site sits about 4 km past Mount Currie, north of Pemberton, tucked between the Birkenhead River and Owl Creek. It's an open, dry forest site on an old homestead, and a few apple trees are still hanging on, so keep an eye out for bears. Sites are big and open, good for RVs (no hook-ups) and groups, with tables, fire rings, outhouses, garbage pickup and bear-proof food caches. It's a popular fishing spot and usually not too busy. Camping is first come, first served: self-register and pay at the yellow box on site.
