Crooked Falls

Crooked Falls is an intermediate hiking trail in the Squamish Valley / Ashlu area, about 6 km return and typically 3 to 3.5 hours. From Highway 99, take Squamish Valley Road across from Alice Lake Provincial Park, then continue onto Ashlu Road after the bridge at about the 24.5 km mark; park before a small bridge and start on the Sigurd trail. Expect a steep rocky start, a retired forest service road, then forest switchbacks to a signed junction and a short final push to the falls. Tourism Squamish lists best seasons as April through November; dogs are welcome, and Squamish Valley Road can be rough after heavy rain.
