Porteau Cove Provincial Park

Porteau Cove Provincial Park sits on Howe Sound about 20 km south of Squamish on Highway 99. The park is known for scuba diving around sunken vessels and artificial reefs, plus a rocky beach, short lookout trail, and views across the fjord. Frontcountry camping is available with waterfront and walk-in sites bookable through the BC Parks reservation system; each person is limited to a maximum of seven nights per year due to demand. Quiet hours run 10 pm to 7 am, and active train tracks beside the park can mean occasional noise. Winter camping is allowed with limited services when snow allows vehicle access.
